THREE OAKS ­- With 5.1 seconds to go in the class D district final Friday night and his team up by one, Covert guard Caskadera Smith stepped to the free throw line for two shots. After missing the first shot, Smith made the second attempt, but it was waved off because of a lane violation and Lawrence was awarded the ball.
