BENTON HARBOR - The Benton Harbor Area Schools district will replace between 40 and 50 members of its high school faculty and staff before the next school year as part of the district's turnaround plan for the struggling school.
Next week all the school's staff members - between 80 and 100 people - will be presented with pink slips, effective June 30, Superintendent Leonard Seawood said Friday. Half of them will be rehired, and the school district will replace those not rehired with new teachers and staff.
