City manager search won't include in-house candidates

Walsh expects to hear from candidates first

ST. JOSEPH - St. Joseph City Commissioners have inked an agreement with the Michigan Municipal League to comb the state for candidates to replace City Manager Frank Walsh.

There is one place they won't look - St. Joseph City Hall.

    Derek Perry and John Hodgeson

    Both Extremely competent and have a vast knowledge of City inner workings and its Finances.

    Either Individual could very easily take up the reigns without missing a beat. Both men have the respect of the Citizens and the Employees, something the current position holder can not claim.

    I would bet that any new person will have some kind of ties or relationship to "Whirlpool".... Just remember, you heard it here first, and it's JMHO...
