If Ron Gunn's daughter had run her usual time, she would have been right at the finish line when the bombs went off at the Boston Marathon on Monday afternoon.

Gunn, a Dowagiac resident, said his daughter, Sarah, a graduate student at Tufts University in Boston, was just a mile away from the finish line when the blasts went off. Sarah, a runner since high school who had joined the Tufts University team for her first Boston Marathon, had been injured and wasn't running at her usual pace.
