ST. JOSEPH - The Berrien County Board on Thursday voted to extend for up to 60 days a study on whether the county's troubled Road Commission should be reorganized or even taken over by county government.
The board in May ordered County Administrator William Wolf to come up with the study by Aug. 15. But a federal audit is pending of the Road Commission's finances, and commissioners agreed they should wait for the audit before getting the study.
