17 years and getting a $83,569 pension the rest of his life. They should put a special line on my property taxes for the "Frank Walsh" payment. I'm sure the "great staff" will all be calculating their own pensions. All I know is I'm paying all these crazy pensions and severance payments including a former LMC president who was told he was doing great and then was fired and left with full pay. If they put a seperate line for all these huge pensions and severence payments on everyones tax forms maybe people would start to notice, especially since they can compare it to their own pensions. In my case after 16 years my annual pension is $0.00 working for a company with over 5000 employees. Guess my mistake was I should have went into public service where the taxpayer picks up the tab.

Let's also get this straight - you would do the same thing given the opportunity.

Let me get this straight, he's 47 years old, leaving with a St. Joe pension of $83,569, and he's starting a new job with a salary that's probably equal to that or more. Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that Mr. Walsh will "like helping people" several more times in his life? Remember this story every time you pay your property taxes.
