BENTON HARBOR - Benton Harbor's police are taking an 8 percent pay cut, and the city's union municipal workers are taking a 10 percent pay cut as part of their concessions to the city, says Emergency Manager Tony Saunders.

The police officers also volunteered to give up their holiday pay, Saunders said. Any officer who works on a holiday will just be paid straight time, not for overtime or holiday pay.
