    Gary,
It's nice to know you are "protected" and are happy to throw your children and anyone else under 55 under the bus. I hope you save up money to help your children as they get to the age where they find their vouchers just don't pay for the private insurance and need some extra money so they can get a decent insurance plan. Yes the latest voucher plan would give you the option of choosing the present Medicare system. What will happen is insurance companies will cherry pick the healthiest and dump all those with pre-existing conditions and are otherwise uninsurable into Medicare. The cost of Medicare will go up paying for the sick as the healthy abandon it. Your costs will go up.....so when you get into your 90's better get ready to go back to work to pay for the increased costs that will be passed on to you. Don't credit Romney/Ryan with saving Medicare since all they are doing is finding ways to take more money out of our pockets and giving it to the insurance companies directly.
