BENTON HARBOR — A proposal to allow alcohol to be sold on Sunday mornings in Benton Harbor was met with stiff resistance at a Benton Harbor Legislative Committee meeting this week.
During the Wednesday meeting, Committee Chair Sharon Henderson said she didn’t want to bring the proposed resolution before the city commission for a vote. She said commissioners in 2010 voted not to allow Sunday morning sales of liquor for a reason.
