BENTON HARBOR — Efforts to create an outdoor downtown retail space in a Benton Harbor alley behind Cornerstone Alliance was given the green light Monday by Benton Harbor city commissioners.
Andrew Haan, vice president of business development for Cornerstone Alliance, said a grand opening of the seasonal alley space will happen late summer or early fall. He said the two-year pilot project will provide full programming during the summer of 2024, with Cornerstone providing decorative overhead lighting, free Wi-Fi, and space for markets and events.
