Benton Harbor Area School officials unveiled the new esports lab Tuesday at the high school. Students will begin league play in the fall semester.

BENTON HARBOR — Benton Harbor Area Schools is entering the world of competitive video gaming with the introduction of its new esports lab.

On Tuesday, several school leaders met for the grand opening of the esports lab at Benton Harbor High School. The unveiling included a closer look at the eight computers, monitors, special seating and flat screen TVs that decorate the walls.


The new esports lab is revealed Tuesday to the public at Benton Harbor High School, which is equipped with eight computers and chairs, along with a few flat screen TVs.
