Goss on bullying: 'Not everyone accepts people like me'

BENTON HARBOR — When Kady Goss realized she self-identified as a woman, the Benton Harbor High School senior called it one of the most uplifting moments of her life.

Goss, 19, says deep down, she always knew in some way that she wanted to be female. Originally, Goss came out her freshman year while she still identified as a boy – but she said she still felt trapped.
