BENTON TOWNSHIP — Benton Township officials approved a unique tax abatement Tuesday to allow a developer to rehab a large commercial building along M-139.
At Tuesday’s board meeting, trustees voted to award an Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Exemption Certificate that will cover 12 years for a vacant building at 1800 M-139.
