ST. JOSEPH — A Benton Harbor man kept his head down and spoke quietly as he testified in Berrien County Trial Court on Tuesday against a co-defendant in a Benton Harbor murder case.

Judge Angela Pasula asked Charles Little Jr., 20, several times to lift his head and speak louder as he testified against Immanuel Williams Jr., 22, at a preliminary hearing for Williams. A third co-defendant, Demarion Evans, 18, waived his preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial.
