BENTON HARBOR — For the fourth time since the fall of 2018, Benton Harbor’s drinking water in some homes was found to have higher than acceptable amounts of lead, Benton Harbor Water Superintendent Mike O’Malley said.

The city has been required to test for lead every six months since the first water advisory was sent out in October 2018.
