BENTON HARBOR — A yearlong Whirlpool Corp. project in Benton Harbor came to fruition Thursday.

More than 100 Whirlpool employees flooded the grounds of Union Park to volunteer for the company’s “Day of Impact,” where they helped put the finishing touches on updating and renovating the city park.
