BERRIEN SPRINGS — Meet Dan, a 27-year-old enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces, who’s married to a wife who works part-time. He has $764 in credit card debt.

Except Dan isn’t a real person. He’s a character given to middle and high school students who will participate in the newly opened Junior Achievement Finance Park.
