BERRIEN SPRINGS — More than 1,000 people marched Sunday in the Berrien Springs Peace March, calling for an end to racial injustice and police brutality against black people.

One of the speakers, Lonhi Sibande, a 2015 graduate of Berrien Springs High School, said he’s never seen such solidarity across the nation of people demanding that the voices of black people be heard.
