BRIDGMAN — More than 1,200 contracted workers will supplement the regular 1,000-person staff at Indiana Michigan Power’s Cook Nuclear Plant during a refueling outage for Unit 1 that began at 3 a.m. today.
Power on Unit 1 was reduced Wednesday to allow for equipment testing before the outage began, Communications Manager Bill Downey said in a news release.
