COLOMA — Police and prosecutors in Berrien County have a new tool in their arsenal thanks to Veterinarian Dr. Kristyn Hunter.
While working on her certification in veterinary forensics, Hunter is helping them to investigate and, when appropriate, prosecute cases of animal cruelty or neglect, and hoarding of animals.
