SOUTH HAVEN — Thanks to two federal grants and the generosity of a business owner, plans will proceed this fall for construction of a bike path along a heavily trafficked portion of Phoenix Street and resurfacing of the road from 73rd Street to 71 1/2 Street.
City staff has been working to find funds for the two projects since 2019. Construction of the bike path from 73rd Street to Veterans Boulevard was estimated to cost $140,000, with resurfacing of the road estimated at $378,000.
