ST. JOSEPH — A former local business owner has been bound over for trial in Berrien County on two counts of criminal sexual conduct and three additional charges.
Brian VanHorn, 50, is alleged to have sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl on numerous occasions, most recently on March 10. He faces up to life in prison, and a mandatory minimum of 25 years if convicted as charged, according to Berrien Chief Assistant Prosecutor Jeff Taylor.
