ST. JOSEPH — The St. Joseph City Commission on Monday approved a long-term plan to make improvements to the city’s water treatment plant and water distribution system, as well as complete replacement of lead service lines.

The 2020 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Project Plan, approved following a public hearing Monday, is a first step in the city applying to the state for a low interest loan from the DWSRF to help fund the project.
