Lakeshore Public Schools

STEVENSVILLE — A preliminary report regarding the state of Lakeshore school district’s school buildings found that it would cost $78 million to do everything that is on the wish list for each building.

The wish list of $34.3 million in improvements at the high school includes adding to and remodeling the current career and technical education facilities at a cost of almost $9.6 million. The list also includes separating the cafeterias and gyms at the district’s three elementary schools, said Dan Tryles from Kingscott, an architecture company in Kalamazoo. He spoke during Lakeshore school board’s Monday meeting.
