STEVENSVILLE — Smart money management during the last three months of the school year led to Lakeshore Public Schools spending about $600,000 less than anticipated, school board trustees learned Monday.

“A lot of that is related to (the COVID-19 pandemic) in terms of not spending some supply money at year end,” Chief Financial Officer Tracy Althouse told trustees during their special board meeting, held via Zoom.
