STEVENSVILLE — Lincoln Township trustees chose not to move forward Tuesday on a resolution to form a special assessment district that would help pay for a potential road project.

As the Berrien County Road Department plans to repave a portion of Ridge Road in the township this summer, there was a chance the road’s shoulders could be simultaneously widened. Despite no action being taken, trustees discussed plans to address pedestrian safety along the road.
