"It Starts with Fruit: Simple Techniques and Delicious Recipes for Jams, Marmalades and Preserves" by Jordan Champagne.

Last year, I shared memories and recipes from Diana Camp and Mary Davis, who grew up in Baroda. They described a different time, one that seemed like a big step back into the past compared to how we live now.

Diana remembered shelling fresh peas with her grandmother, June Miller, while sitting on her lap, and how all the kids would play outside on summer days until the firehouse whistle blew, meaning it was time to go home for lunch. Then it was back to playing outdoors until the 6 o’clock whistle blew.
