BERRIEN SPRINGS — The coronavirus pandemic has changed – but can’t put a damper on – the decades-old tradition of the Cloverleaf Spelling Bee.

“I’m heartbroken about it (being virtual), but there is some good news,” Tonya Snyder, event coordinator and student activities coordinator for the Berrien Regional Education Service Agency (RESA), said this week.
