ST. JOSEPH — Local elected bodies may soon know if they can continue meeting virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.

State legislators passed a bill Tuesday that would allow elected officials to meet virtually for any reason through the end of the year, attorney John Dewane told Berrien County commissioners during their virtual meeting Thursday. He is the interim corporate counsel for the county.
