Local church attendance still not back to pre-pandemic levels

The COVID-19 pandemic may be in the past, but some Southwest Michigan churches are still feeling the effects in their pews.

Local pastors and congregants largely say their number of in-person worshippers has slipped from pre-pandemic levels. In South Haven, several churches have banded together to promote the return to Sunday services.
