Local restaurants prepare for a long pandemic winter

Since late spring, restrictions on indoor dining has forced Southwest Michigan restaurants to rely on outdoor seating to survive.

But as the weather gets colder, the outside space won’t be of much use without added measures. Also looming is the threat of even more mandates or restrictions due to the recent rapid increase in COVID-19 cases.
