BENTON HARBOR — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two people who allegedly robbed the Boost Mobile store in Benton Harbor.

Public Safety Department Detective Michael Harmon said police were called at 3:30 p.m. Sunday to the store at 957 Pipestone St. on a report of two men having robbed the store at gunpoint. Harmon stated in a news release that the robbers took an unknown number of cell phones and an unknown amount of cash.

One of the robbers was described as a black man, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, with a slim build and wearing all black, with a hood covering his face.

The second man was described as black, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a medium build and wearing all black with a white scarf around his face. One of the men was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

This is the fourth time in four years that the Boost Mobile store has been robbed, and police are asking for help from the community in identifying the alleged robbers, Harmon said.
