Pierce joins Cornerstone Alliance WBC Council
BENTON HARBOR — The Women’s Business Center at Cornerstone Alliance announced that Camille Pierce has joined the WBC’s Advisory Council.
The Council is a group of business and financial professionals who are responsible for strategic guidance, technical assistance, and advocacy for the Small Business Services and WBC at Cornerstone.
Pierce is senior director of global diversity and inclusion at Whirlpool Corp. At Whirlpool, Pierce helps attract, engage and retain a diverse employee population and create an inclusive workplace environment. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Pierce had a 20-year career in human resources at Proctor & Gamble where she was a strategic human resources business partner and employee champion for several consumer products.
UFCU gets new VP of information security
ST. JOSEPH — United Federal Credit Union promoted Dan Card to vice president of information security.
Previously, Card served as UFCU’s director of information technology.
Card will be responsible for the oversight of UFCU’s security portfolio and all related security programs. Card will be tasked with security-related business goals and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, statutes and regulatory requirements.
Card earned an associate of applied science degree in computer and network technology from Davenport University, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baker College of Business and Corporate Services. Card has been with UFCU for six years and is a 14-year professional in information security.
Competitive Edge employee wins award
STEVENSVILLE — Competitive Edge employee Catherine Cronkrite was given the Customer Service Representative of the Year award for 2019.
Selected out of more than 135 promotional products companies in North America, Cronkrite was given the award that is handed out to a distinguished CSR for exceeding all expectations on supplier, customer and employee standpoints.
