BENTON HARBOR - Less than a month after a press conference to denounce two Benton Township officials, members of the Coalition for Change and Justice had their first meeting to go over progress for the recall effort.
Benton Township resident Willie Dortch told the group of Benton Harbor and township residents they had surpassed the amount of signatures needed to force a recall election for Clerk Carolyn Phillips and Treasurer Debbie Boothby.
