BERRIEN SPRINGS — Berrien County Board Chairman Mac Elliott gave a preview of this week’s county board meeting at Monday night’s Berrien Springs Village Council meeting.

Elliott reported primarily on the citizen effort to have Berrien County be a Second Amendment Sanctuary County and the vote that is expected at Thursday’s county board meeting. “Some counties have done it, others have declined but reaffirmed their oaths in support of the Michigan and U.S. constitutions,” he said.
