ST. JOSEPH — The free Wednesday Brown Bag Concerts and Friday Night Concert Series, presented by St. Joseph Today, return to St. Joseph this summer, showcasing regional musicians in the John E.N. Howard Bandshell on Port Street near the St. Joseph River and downtown St. Joseph.

The Wednesday Brown Bag Concerts, sponsored by Holt Bosse, offer lunchtime entertainment noon to 1 p.m. each week from June 26 to Aug. 21.This year’s lineup includes:

July 2, Richard Schwartz (classics); July 3, Deep Fried Pickle Project Jug Band (kids show); July 10, Mockingbird (easy listening/rock/country); July 17, Diane Van Deurzen & Lisa Otey (hot jazz/blues/cabaret); July 24, Campfire Stu (kids show); July 31, Jenna Mammina (jazz/pop); Aug. 7, Leonardo (kids show); Aug. 14, Lighting Matches (acoustic folk); Aug. 21, Matt Gabriel (roots/country/Americana).

Free horse-drawn trolley rides, made possible by the Frederick S. Upton Foundation, will be available on Wednesdays in June, July and August (weather permitting).

The Friday Night Concert Series is presented by The Boulevard Inn & Bistro, at 7:30 p.m., June 21 to Aug. 30. The lineup includes:

June 21, The Moonlighters (big band); June 28, Lorrie Snyder or The Snyders (jazz); July 5, Boulevard Billies (roots/folk/rock); July 19, Trevor Jones and Friends (jazz); July 26, Lake Effect Jazz Big Band (jazz/big band); Aug. 2, B-Side Growlers (roots/Americana); Aug. 9, Saturday June Band (classic rock/oldies); Aug. 16, Delilah Dewylde (rockabilly); Aug. 23, Van Dyke Revue (classic hits); Aug. 30, Blue Shoes (jazz/big band).
