BRIDGMAN — A fugitive from Bridgman who fled the country years ago and was captured recently in Mexico faced a Berrien County Trial Court judge Tuesday.

William Troy Stanson, 53, pleaded guilty to contempt of court for failure to appear for sentencing in January 2015. Judge Angela Pasula accepted his plea and sentenced him to 93 days in jail. But that’s just the start for Stanson, who faces several more charges, including four counts of criminal sexual contact.
