SOUTH HAVEN — Thanks to a grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corp. and donations gathered by a South Haven nonprofit group, an automated outdoor gas-fired fireplace will be installed later this year in a South Haven park.
South Haven City Council members voted unanimously this week to approve installation of a $105,000 outdoor fireplace and gathering area for winter events in Dyckman Park on Phoenix Street.
