St. Joseph infrastructure work

A car and cyclist head down Upton Drive, near the Whirlpool Corp. St. Joseph Tech Center last March. Infrastructure work on the street will cost millions of dollars.

ST. JOSEPH — The city of St. Joseph will need to look at sewer and water rate increases every year over the next six years to help fund an estimated $69 million in street, water system and sewer system projects, city officials predicted.

Officials said the infrastructure projects are sorely needed.
