COVERT — A recent traffic stop on I-196 resulted in the largest amount of crystal methamphetamine ever seized in Southwest Michigan by Michigan State Police.

According to a news release, police reported Thursday that 50 kilograms of what is believed to be crystal meth – with an estimated street value of more than $1 million – was found hidden in a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old woman from California.
