I have been farming blueberries in Southwest Michigan for 16 years. While Michigan has been growing blueberries for over 70 years, today we face a challenge to our livelihoods. Imports from Mexico and South America between 2015 and last year have increased by more than 500 percent, and a flood of low-priced blueberry imports from these regions and Canada are devastating U.S. blueberry growers.
