The coronavirus has hijacked our lives. Things that were unimaginable in January are everyday in June. The coronavirus is educating our imaginations.

It’s teaching us we are much more vulnerable than we thought we were. Really big, really scary bad things – things we usually see on the news happening somewhere else to somebody else – can happen here. To our family and our friends. To us. And our country that we’ve had faith in, deep down, even when we questioned and protested and fumed and fought for change … our country might not lead the world in solutions. Suddenly we are, indeed, vulnerable.
