In a close match, Bangor’s varsity soccer team managed a 2-1 victory this past week over the Bloomingdale Cardinals in a Southwest 10 match.
“The team did a great job scoring two goals in the first half and battling hard the rest of the game on defense,” said Vikings coach Antonio Robles.
Madison Marfia scored both of Bangor’s goals, while Sandra Barajas provided an assist.
The victory put Bangor’s overall record at 5-8.
