BERRIEN SPRINGS — Berrien Springs remained undefeated here Friday night registering an easy 46-13 non-league football victory over visiting Kalamazoo Loy Norrix.

But the victory celebration was tempered by a late neck/back injury to two-way player, senior Carleonn “CJ” Porter. Porter’s head hit the artificial turf as he was making a tackle with 1:11 left in the game. He was taken by ambulance to Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
