STEVENSVILLE — It wasn't a perfect performance, but Lakeshore's boys basketball team showed a lot of potential in downing Mattawan 56-42 in a season opener for both teams here Friday night.
"I think you could tell we haven't played in 11 months," noted Sean Schroeder, Lakeshore coach. "All in all, despite our turnovers, missed free throws and missed shots at the rim, we did a lot of good things, too."
