Fox sparrows

It’s a comforting feeling to know that despite the fact our lives have been turned upside down lately, spring is still upon us and life is renewing itself.

Fox sparrows have appeared en masse in Southwest Michigan in recent days, showing up in backyards, forest edges, and feeders. Two fox sparrows were photographed last week at the feeders of Robert and Marlene Smith of Bridgman.
