Harbor Country Hikers
Beach Appreciation Walk: 10 a.m. June 1, Townline and Cherry Beaches, Chikaming Township. The four-mile hike will begin at Townline Beach at 10 a.m., heading north while observing the important features and changes to the township’s beachfront. The hike will end at Cherry Street where the Cherry Beach Committee will give an update on its grassroots efforts to purchase an additional 400 feet of lakeshore and the critical dune included in the 2.6-acre Reed Beidler Trust property.
