KALAMAZOO — Lakeshore's time wrestling at Wings Event Center on Tuesday ended much sooner than the Lancers hoped.
No. 2 seed Lakeshore lost to No. 7 seed Allendale 36-26 in the Division 2 state quarterfinals, its first loss of the season. The semifinals and finals were also held Tuesday, and top-seeded Lowell won its eighth straight state championship.
