Denny McLain visit

Denny McLain to visit Three Oaks: Denny McLain, American League Most Valuable Player and Cy Young Award winner for the 1968 World Series champion Detroit Tigers, will visit Three Oaks on Saturday. McLain has selected Three Oaks as one of his small-town Michigan stops to reminisce with fans about the 1968 season. He will be signing autographs from 10 a.m.-noon at the Biggest Little Baseball Museum at the Three Oaks library. At 12:30 p.m. he will speak at the Acorn Theater in Three Oaks. Cost for the presentation at Acorn Theater is $10, which includes a hot dog, Cracker Jacks and unlimited soft drinks. A cash bar will be available.
