VICKSBURG — St. Joseph was involved in a hard-fought girls soccer defensive struggle for the second time in four days, but this time came out on the wrong end, falling 1-0 to Marshall in Tuesday’s Division 2 regional semifinal.

“We’ve got 10 seniors that just played their heart out,” St. Joseph coach Chris Froelich said. “You want a regional game to look like this, you want it to be 1-0. We had some chances, they had some chances and they buried one.”
